Ronny, you have quite an interesting mix of professional experience. Can you tell us more about yourself?

My name is Ronny Leber. Vienna, Austria is home. With 2 degrees, one in business and one in sports science, I’ve been privileged to take my passion and create a living from it. Speaking with people is something I love and have made a living doing it. I’m a keynote speaker, a TV and event host, and a stadium announcer, while also doing work as a legacy coach to help others turn their visions into reality.

How did you create your brand? What spawned the idea, and what motivated you to build your business?

The sole idea behind what I’m doing is to connect my clients closer to their audience. Life is about communication, so I help them build stronger emotional connections to their audience. When you add value, you create a strong bond. This is important when building relationships with the people we help and serve.

For example, as a host, I love to take my audience on an emotional journey. I take them from where they come from and help them get to the place where they want to be. As a legacy coach, it’s a similar journey. It’s important to deeply understand who my client wants to connect with and why then give them the tools to make it a reality. Understanding clients and my audience is an integral part of my brand. That’s how you create WOWs.

Can you tell us more about your brand? How does it work?

My brand is all about creating emotional moments or as I love to call it: magic moments. Those are the moments you keep in your heart and tell others about or the memories that make you smile and put you in a great mood.

For this to happen, it’s important to have a deep understanding of what my customers’ ideal outcome is. Who is their audience? Once we know this, we then find a way to connect them. The relationships I have with my clients are a perfect example of how you want to create relationships with your audience as well. There should be lots of fun and laughter, but also a simultaneous ambition to create something outstanding together!

Is there something you can tell us that our readers can take away from this? Something that helps them move forward in their journey?

Many of us start working and climbing up the career ladder with total focus and determination. We might appear successful to the outside world, but in reality, you might wonder: is this everything? Is that all there is?

There comes a point when it’s not about the next step of the ladder or the next income raise anymore. Suddenly, it’s about your impact and what you’ll leave after it’s all said and done. It’s about creating a legacy. This is where I step in. I help you craft your legacy. We dig deep inside to find your fire and passion, then formulate it in a way that strikes a chord in your audience. As soon as we figure that out, it’s all about maximizing your impact.

If you find yourself in that position, there are some things to stop and consider. Think about: what is life about to you? What inspires you? What moves you emotionally? What do you love to read about? What do you love to do in your spare time? What do you spend money on? What inspired you as a kid? What do you love to talk about with your friends?

These questions will give you an idea, and a gut feeling, showing you what it is that you want to create. It might take some time to really get through it all, but hang in there and trust yourself. It will come.

Talk to us about business challenges. Any words of advice?

One of the challenges that most entrepreneurs probably have when they first start their journey is in trying to figure out how to create a brand. It’s tough, especially if you don’t know anybody and nobody knows you?

The fuel that drives you is to know your why. Understand your passion! Knowing your what is essential for the direction, but knowing your why is getting you there! This will also attract the right people to your business and into your network.

On an everyday basis, especially when I’m caught up in a lot of work, one of the biggest challenges is staying true to your brand, and at the same time re-evaluate it on a regular basis. Is it still the brand identity that you want to display? Or is it time to evolve yourself and your company?

You need to ask yourself who your dream clients are. Who do they buy from? What’s essential for a brand to attract their dream clients? If my brand would be a person — who would it be? If my brand would be an animal, a city, a flower, a location, and so on… what would it be? The more you know who you are and what your brand is, the better you can guide it in the direction that you want!

What are your thoughts on business finances and reinvesting in your brand?

When it comes to finances, the big first money decision you need to make is about your audience and your offer or pricing. I believe in adding premium value and creating premium products. That means that by building a premium brand, you can charge premium prices which will give you a higher margin. In return, you can reinvest in your marketing and branding.

For managing finances, having a solid plan is essential. It’s very important to be very clear on your offers, your pricing, and the potential you have on the market. How much do you need to create to break even, and how much do you need to create the company and life that you want?

Your vision and finances should be closely related! One big advantage of a privately owned company is that it’s completely up to you when it comes to making decisions about what to invest in and what to focus on.

What’s your future vision for your company?

What we’re working on at the moment is taking the brand online, and creating a sustainable income in the online world. I’ve invested a substantial amount of money into my education, and it’s time to give back. My dream is to create a business online that can serve as many people as possible, but also spread my message and leave a legacy.

Any final words of advice to other creators or entrepreneurs?

GO FOR IT! Believe in yourself! Don’t listen to all those people that tell you that you cannot do it! You need to believe in yourself first.

Know WHY you’re doing it, and surround yourself with people that are pulled in by your why and believe in you. Be bold and dare to fail. It is OK to fail. If you’re only willing to fail small, how can you expect to win big? Have a dream, set goals, and pursue them relentlessly. Don’t give up! As long as you keep moving forward you will eventually get there!
