Stephanie Hill-Manuel is an operations-based business coach who specializes in finance, project management, teams and hiring, customer service, and more. She is dedicated to helping businesses grow sustainably and profitably.

When she isn’t helping businesses grow, she spends time with her husband and daughter in their Massachusetts home. They enjoy their four cats and their dog, who have become a big part of their lives. Last winter, Stephanie and her family enjoyed the perks of remote work by spending three months in Florida, soaking up the sunshine.

Stephanie’s Business Background

Stephanie began her professional career at a local nonprofit museum. At the museum, she did a little bit of everything, including finance and human resources. She spent several years at the museum before moving on to the big corporate world.

She worked at some Fortune 500 companies. Her skills in finance and project management were an asset to these companies. Through these positions, Stephanie gained a background in corporate finance, project management, and human resources.

Her last corporate position was as the Senior Project Manager of Manufacturing at a company that helps build battleships for the U.S. Navy. After a decade climbing the corporate ladder, Stephanie spent a few years as a consultant for million-dollar businesses before stepping into the coaching space.

Pivoting into the Coaching Space

The corporate upper management lifestyle wasn’t what Stephanie wanted for herself. Although the positions and pay were great, these jobs required a lot of travel, no time off, and significant burnout.

From this sense of burnout, Stephanie made the leap into entrepreneurship. She is a Certified Director of Operations (which is like a COO, but for businesses with under $5 million in annual sales) and working part-time in different companies for over a year.
