As someone who is truly dedicated to his craft, DJ First Class taught himself how to DJ in his college dorm room at Western Illinois University in 2010, and he quickly gained popularity as the resident DJ for many local businesses and campus organizations. 

DJ First Class first signed with Billionaire Minds Build Brands in 2013, and he has thrived at the intersection of advertising and music. Whenever he is not releasing mixtapes, he’s creating music-related op-eds for notable brands, curating playlists, and helping develop new artists. 

With a love for broadcast production, DJ First Class is also dedicated to hip-hop journalism. He is an editor at RESPECT Magazine, iLLANOiZE, and BLUNTIQ. 

A man of many talents, DJ First Class even served as head of marketing for a gaming streaming company called Gamerized in Jasper, Indiana. 

To balance all of these different responsibilities, DJ First Class has learned the value of taking multiple breaks to avoid too much stress. He also steps away from technology during these breaks in order to refocus and unwind so that he can be refreshed and ready to work again. 

One of DJ First Class’s musical inspirations is the rapper Curren$y, and he had the opportunity to spend time with him, which he said was a memorable experience because Curren$y’s lyrics had resonated with him over the years.
