Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your company?

I‘m David Hahn, an online entrepreneur. marketing consultant, and SEO expert. I’m the owner of agency “SEO Galaxy” — one of the biggest providers in Germany for off-page SEO / backlink building. I do marketing consultations for large personal brands in Germany and smaller businesses as well.

What inspired you to create your agency?

I created SEO Galaxy in 2018. Prior, I’d built over 20 websites for different niches. I covered so many topics, and learned from the experience. In fact, one of my biggest websites got more than 50k unique visitors per month. Believe it or not, it was a dust mites niche!

People started inquiring about advertising on my site, so I decided to sell space to grow my income. By the age of 18, I’d built a 100k business. It grew from there. Customers were asking about guest posts, and the like. So, I decided I’d start with 100 websites, and offered paid guest post slots. They could buy guest posts, articles, advertising space and more.

I continued to expand, and now have over 5,000 websites in the agency’s portfolio. We offer out advertising spaces, guest posts and more. We work with customers in multiple locations like Germany, Austria, USA, Great Britain, and Switzerland.

We use white hat link building for customers to help grow their visibility. White hat means, following proper protocols. People continued to ask for more services, so I added consulting to my list of services with the agency.

I chose to start branding with my name David Hahn. It grew with customers, online courses, and I scaled it in multiple ways.

My brand David Hahn is for marketing and business consulting. I also offer online courses and individual personal coaching to clients. We work with customers in most any agency, and can offer customized solutions to help them grow their company. Now, after having worked on hundreds of projects, we easily recognize solutions for most customers based on experience.

What challenges have you come across while growing your brand?

My biggest challenge was to find out which marketing and SEO strategies worked for my circumstance. And, with other companies, how can I grow them each month and create the process of the 4 Hour Workweek (based off of Tim Ferris’s book)? I’m now at a point of excellence and live in financial freedom. I have employees, and my business is automated.

How do you manage your finances? How did you fund your business?

I worked with different business consultants to build a system for our finances. We create a 7 account system, so every time I look at my bank account I know how healthy the company is, how good the cash flow is. and where I can optimize things.

As for funding, I started the company with my own budget of 25.000 € and didn’t borrow anything.

What is your goal for the future of your brand? What is the next level for you?

The future of my brand David Hahn is to support 10,000 companies and to double their sales with the power of the right marketing strategies. We’ll also use different — individual — online marketing methods like SEO, ads or specific funnels.

Do you have a message for those who are looking to start a creative business and make a living with it?

My message is to work like hell, ignore naysayers, and have a focus. The focus should be for 80% on sales and only 20% to get the work done. Create a 4 hour week and scale the business with the power of online marketing. This way, you earn sales while you sleep.
