After having had a successful career in Finance, Áurea went through a series of health challenges that forced her to reassess her values and priorities, enabling her to go on a transformational journey to heal her body, which also led to her healing her mind and spirit. She is passionate about sharing her wisdom in order to empower others to go on their own healing journey.

Tell us about who you are and what you do.
I am an Intuitive, Energy Healer and Life Coach. I create a space for people to tune back into themselves. I believe that when we are out of alignment with ourselves it’s easier to experience physical, emotional, and spiritual symptoms of “dis-ease”. Reiki Energy Healing. Meditation. Sound Healing. Nutrition. Yoga. Herbalism. Breathwork. Coaching. All of these are tools to bring us back into optimal health and wellbeing.
Tell us how you created this brand and what was the sole idea behind it.
I founded Radiance Health & Wellness after having undergone a profound transformation in my health & overall wellbeing. Through my journey of healing my body, mind, and spirit, I came to realize that most people do not have access to a wide enough variety of healing modalities and when they do, they tend to not account for the fact that their needs change over time. I am passionate about supporting, empowering, and inspiring people to create lasting improvements in their physical, emotional, mental & spiritual wellbeing. It is my belief that when we view our lives as an integrated whole, we can live healthier, happier, and more vibrant lives. Right now, I am working on launching an online program designed to allow oneself to reconnect with our innate passion and sensuality and unleash our creative and manifestation powers.

I offer a holistic approach to healing. Together, my client and I assess their needs and goals, customize a plan to achieve their goals and by creating accountability we create a new, sustainable lifestyle that allows them to experience less stress, more joy, and freedom and improve their overall quality of life.
Explain the challenges you went through while you were working on brand creation. What are the challenges you go through on an everyday basis?
My biggest challenge when I started out was not feeling like I was offering a comprehensive enough offering for my clientele. However, the deeper I went into my own personal healing, growth, and development the more I was able to acquire additional skills and curate a set of offerings I am proud of. Now my day to day challenges are more related to time management and remaining visible to my target audience.
Tell us your future vision about the brand. How far do you want to take it? What is your dream about taking it to the next level?
I am working on creating healing retreats, around the world, with some of the most amazing sound healers, yoga instructors, and herbalists I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and those I’ve yet to meet! I would love to do TEDTalk inspiring women to lead from a heart-centered space and embody the fullness of their femininity. I really don’t see an “end”, as I am constantly evolving as a healer and a woman. I am excited to see what I will create in the future.
What message would you like to give to anybody who has a plan of creating something of their own and making a living through it?
Follow your heart. It sounds super cliché but it’s the truth. If you are passionate about what you are doing and it lights you up, then that’s what you need to be doing. We all have unique gifts to share with the world. There’s a reason for you having the passions and gifts that you do and it isn’t for you to hide them. It is for you to live in the fullest expression of yourself. When you are BEing everything will start unfolding for you. Have faith — in yourself and in the Divine.
